Hoje as empresas buscam pessoas com inúmeras qualidades. Em inglês, algumas características muito buscadas seriam algo como “committed to excellence”, “innovative”, “someone who does good for the whole”, “passionate”, “with critical reasoning” e muito mais.
Mas como identificar gente tão boa? Fazendo perguntas um tanto profundas na hora da entrevista de emprego. Até porque questões como “Where do you see yourself in ten years?” já têm resposta pronta e ensaiada.
Mas será que você está pronto para responder a questões mais desafiadoras? Ainda mais se forem feitas em inglês?
Abaixo, você verá algumas perguntas que podem aparecer em processos seletivos e fogem do básico. Uma sugestão é praticá-las em voz alta com colegas ou professores. Veja a seguir:
1. If you had five minutes to live, who would you call?
2. Is it always better to be safe than sorry?
3. In order do find yourself, are you willing to lose yourself?
4. Do you live from the inside out or the outside in?
5. Is it true that you have to see it to believe it, or rather, do you have to believe it before you can see it?
6. Do you realize that nothing is too good to be true?
7. What difference does it make if the thing you’re scared of is real or not?
8. What great achievement has been performed by the one who told you it coudn’t be done? (Melvin Chapman)
9. When will you ever have more time than you do right now?
10. Do you know that you know far more than you know you know?

• Why should we hire you?
• Why do you want this job?
• Why were you fired?
• Why do you want to work for this company? Why do you want to work here?
• What are you weaknesses & strengths?
• Why did you leave your last job? What are the reasons you left your last job?
• What (value) do you bring to the company? – Your qualifications for the job requirements.
• Why do you think you would make a great addition to our team?
• How long will you work for us?
• How is your relationship with co-workers? What do colleges or supervisors say about you?
• Give us examples of situations of pressure that you faced.
• Give an example when you have worked out above/beyond your normal job profile to make something happen for the company.
